How Fast Are the Senses?
Abstract
We propose a way for measuring a person’s response delay using a computer. We present an analysis of the uncertainties inherent to the computer, and propose a method (Rythmic Imitation) for dealing with them. Measurements are made using a simple software created by us, and processed as discussed. We think this simple problem could be used for introducing physics students into the concepts relative to measurement, allowing discussion within a rather different situation.
