A Proposal to Use a Mechanical Design Software as a Strategy for Thermodynamics Teaching
Abstract
It is common to find specialties such as engineering, the use of mechanical design software for modeling of phenomena of fluid of flow and heat transfer. In the present investigation is to show the potential of the use and application of software called SolidWork, the study of the variation in temperature and the isotherms are formed on different surfaces such as corrugated helical blades and solid bars, co-corresponding item the heat transfer of the course of Thermodynamics imparted in the specialty of Physics of Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL). The initial findings of this application show that the students seem to have a better understanding of the phenomenon of energy transfer as heat through the use of this computational tool.
