Abstract

Einstein’s hypothesis is posed and applied to the development of the Theory of Photoelectric Phenomena, the Bohr’s Theory of the Hydrogen Atom and the main laws of Photochemistry. An example of interaction process not satisfying Einstein’s hypothesis known as multiphoton absorption is analyzed and one of its applications is described.
