Proposal of a Measurement Procedure for the Calibration of Bell Provers Models LJQ-20 and LJQ-100

Abstract

The bell provers models LJQ-20 and LJQ-100 found in Cuba are used for the verification of domestic gas meters. In this work the main existing methods for the calibration of bell provers are presented and the principle of measurement of bell provers models LJQ-20 and LJQ-100 is described. The proposal for a measurement procedure based on the strapping method for the calibration of these LJQ-20 and LJQ-100 bell provers is justified in order to implant it in Cuba.
