Abstract

Here we present a series of nanodevices based on these lf-assembly of mono- and multilayers on gold and silver surfaces. The molecular multilayers were obtained using the layer-by-layer method. The formed mono- and multilayers served to modify electrodes and nanoparticles. Perthiolated cyclodextrins and alkanethiols, and also coordination compounds were used. The obtained nanodevices were employed as sensors y molecular recognition systems of biomolecules. The results presented here permit to conclude that the procedures used to form self-assembled mono- and multilayers are of relative simplicity and permit to obtain a wide variety of nanodevices with different properties.
