The Anionic Instability Threshold in Atoms
Abstract
In this work is estimated the nuclear charge threshold, Zc, at which an atom turns unstable. In order to achieve it, an interpolation procedure based on an effective Schrödinger equation for the most external electrons is used. The results are compared with our own force model for null radious, where the input parameters are the experimental values for the covalent radious and electroaffinity.
