Methodological Alternative for Using the Experimental Scientific Method in Physics Laboratory Lessons

Abstract

In the present study the authors deals with the application of the scientific experimental method in the process of teaching of Physics, which is sustained in the learning pattern as investigation in the career of Mathematics-physics. The analysis of different investigative results published in the last decade facilitated to identify significant advances in this field, mainly as for the operationalization of the method and the use of simulations and virtual experiments in the teaching of the Physics. However, inadequacies still persist in the teacher procedures that limit the appropriation of the method by the students. In particular, a methodological alternative for the introduction of the scientific experimental method is presented to be used in the practices of laboratory of Physics in order to allow for the students to acquire the procedures of the mentioned method. Finally, an example about the way the methodological alternative was applied in a class of laboratory of Physics is exposed.
